That Simon Rose Blog Archive

I have been a writer and blogger for The Gooner since October 2008, guesting occasionally on the monthly Gooner Podcast. I worked in online and radio sports journalism for several years, before moving onto corporate communications and now digital communications. The first Arsenal goal I saw scored live was a 25-yard volley by David OíLeary - Arsenal 5 Chelsea 2, 1979 - and not many people can say that! Some wrongly think that I am an AKB, but in truth I am just an optimistic realist and have openly surfaced Wenger flaws since the 2000-01 season. Follow me on Twitter at @thatsimonrose.
