Re: THE FORUM AS IT IS NOW

Just to clarify, it wasn't that anyone "grassed" anyone up specifically, it was more that I received a number of emails, a couple of text messages and at least one remark on Twitter which all said much the same thing... "the new rules on the forum didn't last long". No users were...

Re: niall quinn

I didn't see the Sky coverage as I was at the game, so can't comment on it, but I have to agree with safcftm about Quinny. He's as down to earth as they come and probably just let his enthusiasm for the game run away with itself. I've never seen him less than excited at any game and am sure he'd hav...

Re: FAVORITE ARSENAL PUB AND WHY

phibbers before it kept closing down for renovation :banghead: Went to the wig and gown pre match last sunday and tbh I didnt think much of it - it was very much like the grove as in loads of overly loud music and f**k all atmosphere  Left there and went down to try phibbers for the first tim...

Re: FAVORITE ARSENAL PUB AND WHY

The Che (formerly Lord Palmerston) an unknown gem. On a nice day (so probably not today), the Che gets my vote as there is always a good selection of South American beauties behind the bar. It's the only pub in the area where you complain if you get served too quickly. Not big enough inside though,...

Re: The Gooner - Issue 224

Have to say mike, that I absolutely hate it when marc ollington does the letters page cos he just comes across like a smart arse who doesnt give a f**k about anything anybody else has to say - he may well be the complete opposite in real life but that is just how he seems to me when he responds to ...

Re: The Gooner - Issue 224

I thought it was a very good issue, balanced and interesting to read, with one exception. The chap (Damian Hall?) who responded to the letters. Now, I don't mind people who make their opinions clear, but if anyone disagreed with his (absurdly positive in my opinion, totally correct in that of other...

Re: Sky Fixtures/Norwich Game

The Norwich game was scheduled to be moved to the Sunday, which I think is what has happened to the other PL fixtures, but due to engineering works on the tube, they couldn't do it, hence the Saturday 12.45 kick off.

I don't think it's being televised.

And look at that first picture. A Nike kit with a nice white sleeve with red trim. Just shows they can do it! Mike I know the kit is nice and all that but are you seriously telling me that the first thing your eyes focused in on was what kind of shirt they were wearing ?  Of course not, ...

Re: Poll - What's changed? - you decide

I know that I am one of the minority (in fact I might actually be on my own here) but I still believe that mertesacker will prove to be a good signing 8) Not by yourself augie. I'm with you on this one. The BFG may not be first choice, especially the way Kos and TV are playing at the moment, but it...
