Re: THE WENGER THREAD
If Wenger had walked away from Arsenal the day after the CL final in 06 saying "I did all I could do, it's someone else's turn now" Yes, very good post. Agree with almost all of it, and it's nice to be given a bit of a reality check every now and then. I took MDMA today. It was v. good in...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
 "One moment when everything fitted into place"? And that moment lasted about 7 or 8 years...? And included replacing the entire back 5 that he inherited and then somehow going on to win the PL unbeaten...? Seriously? All based on that one moment of luck? Christ I'm defending t...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wenger was not a "football genius" by any means, but he was not just "lucky" either. Oh yes he was... 8) :horseshite: Oh no he weren't! I think what we do agree on is that Souness is a massive *word censored*. "lucky" is the word though, isn't it. I think ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
There are probably more things which I have overlooked, but the things above will hurt the bottom line not to mention the loss of prestige to the brand. Could the share prices go down because of those factors? It is difficult to say. If that happens or there is a hint of that, Wenger will be gone. ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I honestly can't see him getting a contract extension. I think that this time the board are actually telling the truth and it will be negotiated at the end of term. I think that we have got our wish and will have a new man in place next season. There are loads of good up and coming coaches as well ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
He has been asked about the form against top sides - "just six points from games against top seven?" He replied “I felt away from home we failed in big games yes and didn’t take enough points. Difficult to explain because last season it was the reverse " was it Arsene??? was it reall...

Souness' pretty clear here on what he thinks about wenker... He's a prick but got it spot on here. http://metro.co.uk/2017/05/04/graeme-souness-suggests-arsene-wenger-has-been-lucky-with-success-at-arsenal-6614845/ This was always my point. Stewart Robson... THFC is Nr. 1 now in N. London... 1) they've got the better team 2) they've got the better manager 3) they play the better football 4) they're more organised 5) they've got the better players out-played, out-run, out-thought...tactically and physically He's a very good nutritionist...
