Palarsepieces H Sat 20th Jan KO 1230

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Last game before I get married. Here’s hoping for something positive.
There is one positive. You still have time to back out and not get married.

Quite a few goals in our previous encounters with Palace

https://www.arsenal.com/video/men/memor ... 0_t719xe0k

Including Giroud’s scorpion kick

Loved Merson’ s hat trick and Campbells volley
Was speaking to Palace fans before that match and they were talking about us being a one man team ( Wright ) I told them Merson would destroy them ….and so it came to pass.

3-0

Havertz man of the match :-P

The first few months are usually alright but after that it just gets a bit boring and you end up talking about the same stuff again and again until one of you puts the tv on and the other one takes up a new hobby. Oh, the football, you mean. Sorry, Yeah, um, I wouldn't get too excited about that either. It will probably start with a bit of energy and then drift away to predictable boredom. Very much like..

Fuck me dead ! you two remind me of the "Two Ronnies". Back to the game - we play our invisible No 9 & struggle to get a draw.
I'd rather Ramsdale up front !. :barscarf: :barscarf:
Gosh! The way you're going on anyone would think we were playing Forest! :D
Do you think he's twigged yet?

I pine for the old days when myself and the lads would go out on the town thinking "I maple a decent looking bird tonight".

in the summer we would go to the beech to pull
knot always successfully

Sometimes you'd find a location full of birds and think you had them in the palm of your hand and then not pull and realise you needed to branch out.... :-P

I think we know how this will go,76% possession, camped in their half, passing side to side looking for a gap,Saka predicable and doubled up on,Odegaard huffing and puffing,Rice covering Zinchenko at left back because he’s gone awol,Havertz wandering around like he’s looking for his fucking dog,

Then palace break, get a corner,Raya flapping about while,we stand still and they score, then fucking anything could happen,we either react and win or pity ourselves again while Arteta waves around like Forrest Gump playing table tennis, who then looks at the bench and see absolutely fuck all that will change the game

We will either turn up and Flat Track Bully them 4 - 1 or 3 - 0 (ish)

Or they will score first and we will struggle to equalise....

Good news (for us) is Olise is out... But Eze is dangerous... and Guess is a very good mid-fielder.

Keown talking bollocks about how "we'll vary things"

No we won't. We'll play exactly as we always do and due to Palace being shit, it might work.
