You haven't heard about the minor hamstring injury he is probably carrying, followed by the time everybody (except quality players) need to acclimatise to the pace of the PL.

What happened with that Welbeck cover up was nothing short of a complete and utter disgrace.
At least the media grew a pair and called him out on that by branding him a liar for saying Welbeck would be back after the international break when he knew it was BS.
