Southampton have scored a league-high 10 headed goals in the Premier League this season and also made the most crosses from open play.
Charlie Austin has scored in both of his two Premier League appearances against Arsenal.

Strange as this is what I read in the ES tonight.

Arsenal host Southampton in the Premier League tomorrow evening and will once again be without Per Mertesacker due to suspension as they search for their first win in four League matches.

I also thought it was 3 for the straight red?? Although Rodders also said it was just one game. If it is just the one game we should have definitely appealed.Maybe they saw extenuating circumstances..... like the fact that he wasn't looking at the player when he scythed him down??

Yep one game (unless he's already served a ban for accumulated yellows or red in which case you get an extra game)

Well, the good news is, he's back. Southampton will be thrilled.

Walpot, Wengers little spokesman. If he could only play anywhere near the game he talks.

Before every game the Standard interviews one of our players on how they are either going to.
A) Bounce back after a recent defeat.
B) Show everyone they are capable of winning the title.
C) Show they can compete with the best in Europe.

I just wish instead of talking about how they will do it, they just did it, then tell us how they did it.
