I’m not renowned for my horseracing knowledge. It basically boils down to “I like the name of that one!”

But I made a killing in Paddy Powers yesterday.

Had €5 e/w on The Package at 6/1 and he placed so I got back the grand total of €11.50.

But I also had €5 on two horses to place in the 1.30 and 2 to place in the 2.40 at 40/1. It was called the “Pick Them” special or something. I thought “mental odds and you can pick any horses you want – I’m in!” Both placed.

Pocketed €200 there. 8)

On the way out after collecting the €200 I spied “Rock On Ruby” at 12/1 and thought “Why not? I won a couple of quid on Ruby Walsh himself last year” so I put €10 on him to win. He did. Another €120 on the hip. 8)

Then I slapped €10 on Balthazar King to win at 8/1 because the bird with big tits in work picked it too. Sure, why not, Ted - I like tits. 8) 8)

BOOM! Another €80.

And that was my scientific approach! Still, €400 in the pocket. :barscarf:

I did the “Pick Them” special again today for €5 at 50/1.

Also have Ruby Walsh to place in all 6 of his races today at 325/1. Loooooooong shot, I believe... :D

Got 5's on Kauto too, but covered with a reverse forcast with long run.

My tip for rest of today, Kid Cassidy at the 5.15

Festival just over a week away. Not as good as previous years for making easy money. But some nice Matched Betting offers from

Skybet.
Paddy Power.
William Hill.

I expect a few more offers from bookies near the day. Could easily make £300+ over the 4 days. :barscarf: :barscarf:
