Aubs goal record this season:
League P15 G13
Cup P1 G1
Champs league P6 G4

Compared to Theo....
League P0 G0
Fa Cup P1 G0
uefa cup P5 G3

Or Sanchez:
League P17. G7
Fa cup P0 G0
UEFA cup P1 G1

I’d take Aub in a heartbeat
He would score about as many as Giroud in our set up with our "manager". Or be played as a right back.

Aub has been amazing for years. The negative posts show how permanently negative many fans have become. If we signed Messi he'd be 'too old', Cristiano would be' too selfish'.

I'd take Aub in a heartbeat

I'd have Aub in a heartbea

No, it's not negativity. It's the problem of placing a good player under the "management" of Wenger. Ozil went from being the top assist provider in all European leagues a couple years running to looking constantly frustrated and being called "lazy" under Wenger. Sanchez went from a hugely exciting talent to a frustrated bloke that often just gives the ball away from the sheer desperation of trying to light a spark under our dull tiippy tappy style.

Aubemayang would be off the goals within 2 months of falling under Wenger's "managament".

Yes, our wonderful leader does have something of the inverted midas touch about him when it comes to talented players who sign or young players with potential.

Walcott to Everton. The 2018 Stephen Hughes. Funny I never thought to make that comparison before.

We should be very thankful they paid £20million for him, or rather that Walcott and his advisers went for it.

Given that he has been with the club 12 years and didn't get a testimonial the convention would normailly be that in lieu of a transfer fee he would be allowed to pocket a huge signing-on fee from Everton. Not many players stay at a single club for 10 years these days, so it's become a fairly rare occurrence. But it's a long-standing convention in recognition of long-service: testimonial or free transfer and massive signing on fee in lieu.

Not saying he deserved it.....he was grossly overpaid for (especially) the last few years......but nonetheless we've done well to get a fee for him under the circumstances. I can't imagine he was desperate to get away and play regularly (he is well down the pecking order for England these days) so he could have continued to sit on his contract and play hardball.....just for once, we haven't been shafted financially.

He's gone to Everton because ""The manager is very hungry".

You don't say...
