Re: Injuries
Partey and Jesus have spent around 25% of playing time injured since joining. You can't keep people like that, get fucking rid!!

Re: Injuries
Thomas Partey is expected to be sidelined for approximately 5 weeks. The hope is he’ll be available for the trip to Luton on Dec 5th.

Fer Fuuuuckk's Saaaake!
There is no doubting his "quality" as a player, but like Partey he is Very Injury prone, but of course Arteta won't have a word said against him/them etc.
I reckon Partey in particular has missed extensive amounts of playing time due to injuries, he must have glass knees or whatever is causing the problems this time around.

Get rid of the pair of 'em.

ARSENAL striker Gabriel Jesus is set to fly to Brazil for international duty - despite being injured.

I think that if a club says their player is not fit enough for international duty then that should be the end of it.

Interesting that they don't believe what the Arsenal medical team are saying.According to ESPN, Brazil officials want him to be assessed by Fernando Diniz and his medical team.
And if he is deemed not fit enough to play, the striker could be cut from the squad and forced to fly 5,000 miles straight back to London.
Discussing his squad selection earlier this week, Diniz said: "We're going to bring Gabriel in to find out the real conditions, because we believe he can be fit enough to play."

Re: Injuries
And let's not forget his initial injury was down to playing in the Slavery Cup...How the fuck can they expect him to fly half way around the world just to check out IF he's okay... on the chance that IF he is (by their standards) he Might play. Arteta AND Jesus himself should tell them to Go Fuck a Duck.

Exactly. Tell them to fly their medical team to London to check him out or tell them to fuck off.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 10:31 amAnd let's not forget his initial injury was down to playing in the Slavery Cup...How the fuck can they expect him to fly half way around the world just to check out IF he's okay... on the chance that IF he is (by their standards) he Might play. If they think he might be ok to play then that is because jesus must be saying it to them - we aint like old whiskey nose with the red manc scum in that we dont have a rep for pulling players out of international squads, so there has to be a reason why they dont trust our report and that has to come from jesus.

Re: Injuries
NEW: Gabriel Jesus has travelled to Brazil for international duty.
Under FIFA rules, countries have the right to assess player themselves - and Brazil have taken up the option to do so.

Re: Injuries
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard hasn't travelled to Norway for international duty. Will stay and work at club during the break.

Re: Injuries
This is bonkers. This doesn't usually happen.
These blokes should be at the training getting physio every day.
It does suggest that Augie's point is correct....that the players are pushing this. I suspect that Odegaard is close to fitness, so thinks he'll be ready to play for Norway, but Jesus can't be anywhere near ready. I know our medical dept has been suspect for years, but if they're saying he's out 'til December, then surely even they can't be that far wrong??
Or can they??........

Re: Injuries
Martin Odegaard missed Arsenal’s matches against Newcastle and Sevilla due to concussion after taking a ball to the face in training at London Colney. Sl
