As first reported by ESPN, while a majority of the panel felt on-field referee Michael Salisbury was wrong to award Fulham's first penalty for Nelson Semedo's 'foul' on Tom Cairney, and that Vinicius should have been shown a red rather than yellow card for head-butting Max Kilman, in neither instance did they believe the decisions fell into the 'clear and obvious' category that would have warranted them being overturned.
So the ref was wrong, and a head butt is not a clear and obvious error !,
Absolute joke
They have got a clue, the refs, the officials on VAR duty or the panel that meet

Re: VAR
Watching the Scouse v Fulham game and the level of refereeing is Woeful... I mean Seriously BAD.
And what is equally Bad if not worse is the Female commentary... I mean they have screechy voices and spout soundbites and utter Bollocks.

Re: VAR
The more you look at VAR the more it looks like it’s run by a team of schizophrenics. It’s because they aren’t following any rules. It’s all on a whim. And that’s why it’s open to massive abuse. How many times must I say we need specialist VAR Teams with a specific Head of VAR. I’d go proper old school and put Keith Hackett in charge of it. Agree the rules at the start of the season and stick rigidly to them. Not sure what could actually go wrong if you did that.

Re: VAR
They're too busy giving themselves nicknames. The VAR audio sounds like a group of 15 year old boys having their first alcopop discussing a moment in a match.BobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 7:41 pmThe more you look at VAR the more it looks like it’s run by a team of schizophrenics. Re: VAR
It's just painful listening to them these days and to be honest, over the last 20 years or so when cúnts like Poll and Webb decided that they needed to be important and have their own 'identities'. "Yeah, errr, alight, big man, it's top geez a here on VAR. We're just having a cheeky little look at the vid so, just chill for a mo', mate. Yeah, looks like we've got a bit of a handball sitch going down here, mate, so yeah, can't see anything but gonna say it's deffo a handball and I've got your back, big boy. Cheers, mate and yeah, go easy, geezy. Nice one. Yeah, cool."Natural Born Gooner wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 8:31 pmThey're too busy giving themselves nicknames.
