Bournemouth A Sat 30th Sept KO 3pm
Next up in the league it's a trip to Bournemouth.Weve both got ties tonight in the cup so it'll be interesting to see the sides we both select. Its a hard one as they all are, important to bounce back after that shite on Sunday.
Re: Bournemouth A Sat 30th Sept KO 3pm
Bournemouth shouldn't be a hard one after all they have scored 5 and shipped 11 goals so far but we do have the ability to make anyone look good
So it will probably be a low scoring draw as we don't have anyone to get more than enough for us..

We'll either stroll through this 4 or 5 nil or end up scrapping around in a 1-1 draw.

Early in the week all the talk was about which of our injured players are gonna be back in time for citeeh game and not a word about this game - the way we are playing this game worries the shit out of me

Re: Bournemouth A Sat 30th Sept KO 3pm
Arteta in his post game (Brentford) interview - I mean besides his usual hip not bollocks of whatever when asked about starting a weakened side said
"We have seven injuries" so we have to focus on one game at a time.
What I do know is if he plays Raya instead of Rambo, that'll confirm (at least for me) that Raya is Definitely our No 1 GK, regardless of what number he wears on his back.
I don't know if I was imagining it, but Ben White was already looking "Leggy" in the Brentford tie, so if he is at RB against Bournemouth he could well get roasted. ???

I'd say Nelson for Saka gives him a good rest and a chance for Nelson to build on his recent minutes. Could be win win if he performs well. I guess all depends on how the left sided injuries are getting on
Re: Bournemouth A Sat 30th Sept KO 3pm
I think Nelson has looked ok in his games so far, not a first choice yet but decent cover.
Not sure what the midfield will look like, assume it will be Eddie Sanogo up front, Jesus on the right, Nelson on left with Ode, Jorginho and Havertz (of course he'll play him yet again) in the middle.
I hope he'll play ESR instead of Havertz but there's no chance.

Mikel Arteta says Saliba and Fábio Vieira were both left out of the League Cup game because they were not fit enough.
Injury list currently looks like:
Partey
Timber
Saliba
Vieira
Saka
Martinelli
Rice
Trossard

We had made big strides in recent seasons from the leetle bit niggle injury banter fest that plagued the club for years under Wonka but fuck me that’s a pretty dire list for a season that’s a little over a month underway.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 9:21 amMikel Arteta says Saliba and Fábio Vieira were both left out of the League Cup game because they were not fit enough.

Arteta on injuries:
"Declan hasn’t trained yet, we have a session in an hour, we’ll get more news about him. Gabi [Martinelli] hasn’t trained, Leo same situation, Saka, same. They are all in the same pool, Willy had a knock, Fabio wasn’t involved. We have to assess them today."

Holy Fuck!
Looking at that list I'm wondering who the fuck DO we have that can play?
Partey
Timber
Saliba
Vieira
Saka
Martinelli
Rice
Trossard
.... Still never mind we have Havertz & 2 Goal Keepers available !
Re: Bournemouth A Sat 30th Sept KO 3pm
If we play the same team that played Brentford, it should be more than enough to beat Bournemouth.
1-3 to the Arsenal, Havertz with a double......*
*Nurse....I need my medication...quick!!

William Saliba’s ‘knock’ is a foot problem; Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka should be okay but two big games (Lens and Man City) on the horizon maybe a factor in team selection for Bournemouth. @MailSport
