Re: Everton docked 10 points + Other Corruption
Probably going to get four more taken off them for the second set of charges which would take them back up to the original 10. This whole saga is an absolute fiasco and sums up just how incompetent, irrelevant and inept the Premier League really are. When it comes down to it, clubs can do whatever they want, whenever they want and just get any punishment reduced or removed until it hardly matters at all. There is widespread panic about what to do with Man Cheaty as they know they can't let them get away with all their dishonesty and obfuscation but a complete unwillingness to actually punish them properly. This will be used as a precedent to avoid punishing them properly.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 1:27 pmEXCLUSIVE Everton points deduction for breach of Premier League profitability & sustainability rules reduced from 10 points to 6 after independent panel appeal hearing into original punishment. 2nd charge appeal hearing still to come @TheAthleticFC #EFC

Absolutely! 100% Cheaty's lawyers will have been burning the Midnight Candle AND sealing a Few Brown Envelopes to make sure they only get a slap on the wrist at most... Too Much (Saudi) Money Involved.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 5:22 pmProbably going to get four more taken off them for the second set of charges which would take them back up to the original 10. probably be reduced to one on appeal
makes no difference anyway, could be docked 20 points and they'd still survive thanks to the skid mark 3

So should that Stand and Not be Reduced, then Cheaty should get something like a 230 (115 x 2) Points reduction since their 'Cheating' began... about 4 seasons ago???rodders999 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 2:27 pm2 points for a second offence of cheating.....mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 2:14 pmEverton have been slapped with a further two-point penalty for breaches of the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Re: Everton docked 10 points + Other Corruption
Started off with 10 a few months back, got reduced to six and now docked two more for another offence. How can another offence be fucking less serious rather than more serious? The whole thing is a fucking joke and the Premier League are making absolutely certain this doesn't mean the difference between staying up and going down. It's almost certain that any appeal will result in this lot being docked one point if two would relegate them and that it will happen once the season is over. The whole thing is a fucking disgrace. How can clubs like Luton or Brentford or indeed Leicester- who are also charged with the same offence from last season- play matches without knowing how many points they might need to stay up or go up until the season is over? The way the Premier League conducts its own business is a fucking disgrace.rodders999 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 2:27 pm2 points for a second offence of cheating.....mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 2:14 pmEverton have been slapped with a further two-point penalty for breaches of the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Re: Everton docked 10 points + Other Corruption
The FA and all those at board level and anyone involved in the decision making and officiating of the Laws really are not fit for purpose.
So if there is an established penalty for a club if it goes into administration etc (10 points?) why the fuck do they not already have a set series of penalties for any club breaking the rules of FFP? I mean it's not as if FFP has only just been introduced.
What IS Needed very badly and immediately is a totally Independent Overseer of the FA/Prem/PGMOL who can be trusted ( Yeah Right!) Who has the first and last say, with the power to Dismiss, Fine and Penalise in any other suitably deemed manner so that No One can escape culpability and be liable to pay huge fines AND do jail time.
That is what's fucking needed to get shot of these utterly inept and incapable back hander money grabbingCUNTS.

Re: Everton docked 10 points + Other Corruption
The trouble is that the PSR has no standard tariff for offences. Apparently the PL clubs agreed all of this, as it suits agendas.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 8:03 pmStarted off with 10 a few months back, got reduced to six and now docked two more for another offence. Different clubs could be punished for the same offence with a different sanction depending on who makes up the panel. It's fucking crazy, and as per the normal, it will be the lawyers rubbing their hands together.
Apparently Leicester have fallen foul, does that mean that they may not be promoted if they get a points deduction?
The independent regulator is the only option to stop this nonsense. I'm sure I read that the clubs now want a whole new set of PSR rules as well

That's the answer to all this utter fucking nonsense and the years of the Premier League and clubs acting like a cartel. It's also why they're all doing everything in their power to stop this regulator from happening. Like the banks and rail companies and police in England, they've got to the stage where they need independent regulation because they've had 150 years of doing whatever the fuck they want, whenever they want and making up the rules as they go along. The last thing any of them want, is someone asking questions and actually checking what they're doing.
Re: Everton docked 10 points + Other Corruption
I reckon that the clubs, PL & PGMOL will fucking shit themselves if the regulator has any teeth as skeletons hidden in the closet might just be opened for all to see. The shredders are probably on full whack as we speakPerryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 2:21 pmNick Nack wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 12:04 pmThe trouble is that the PSR has no standard tariff for offences. "Burn it"
"Get Alex Ferguson on the phone and for fuck's sake tell him to start shredding and burning."
"Find those drug test results from Leicester in 2016 and fucking pour them down the toilet.:
"Close that fucking bank account in Bahrain and ask for the money in fucking cash right now. Tell the referees that we're going to have to do cash payments for their 'charity' fund from now and fucking hell, make sure they don't say a word about this in public."
"Has that powder arrived at Keith Hackett's house yet? Fucking let me know when it does because we need him out the fucking way."
"Fucking hell. Shred and burn quicker, I can hear the regulator's car pulling up outside."
