Just broken his leg, so bad apparently Sky can't show it.

Feel awful for him :(

Let's do it for Dudu.

Shame as he wont be playing at Euro08 now either. Sky were saying it was that bad they hope he recovers so he can play again.

Commentary describes the images as too graphic to show. The look on Cesc's face when he first saw it was enough to tell me that.

Eduardo was stretchered off with an oxygen mask, blanket etc.

My guess would be his ankle/leg is broken so badly its pierced flesh and sent the poor guy into shock. He's certainly in good hands though so lets just hope he's alright.

It'll be a long rehabilitation though, I'd imagine months.

Apparently he went straight to hospital, most of the medical staff were 'ashen faced'...

I can't concentrate on the game at all now

Fu&k, nasty. Urgh I feel a bit sick after seeing that. The players looked really shocked - as did Gary Lewin.

Come on boys.

It'll be a long rehabilitation, lets hope that that is all.

Horrendous injury and by the reaction of those around him, it could well be career threatening.

Lets win the title for him 8)

From the Guardian text updates:

21 min: Apologies for not watching the football for a couple of minutes - it's basically a training session anyway - but I've just seen a picture of Taylor's challenge, and it is completely and utterly disgraceful. Flying through the air studs up, he lunges in halfway up the shin of Eduardo's standing leg. The striker's leg clean snaps at a right angle; no wonder Fabregas was holding his head in his hands the minute he saw it. It's going to be an ethical dilemma for sports editors across the country, this picture.

Fuck it man. I don't know what to say...

Oh shit TS, I was trying to be optimistic/hopeful before...

Taylor needs more than a red the careless fuck. His suspension should reflect Eduardo's absence.

Fucking hell.
I don't mind a bit of fighting spirit, but this pathetic c**t should be fucking jailed. What he's just done verges on GBH. Twat.

I'm completely lost for words.

Hope that *word censored* Taylor slips and breaks his fucking neck.
