Arsenal vs PSG: A Huge Opportunity Awaits

PSG. Home and away in the Semi Finals of the Champions League.

With myself only 22 years old, I am too young to remember the 06’ season that took us all the way to that heartbreaking night in Paris, so for me, this is easily the biggest game I will ever be apart of so far.

The Arsenal, in the semi finals of the UCL, I would only dream of these special nights, the roar of the crowd surging the players on, the cheers and hugs with your fellow supporters when that ball hits the back of the net.

Tuesday is huge, I genuinely haven’t been able to sleep at night thinking about it, the fact we are only two games away from the Champions League Final. WHAT.

Getting to that UCL final for me, and I think for a lot of us Gooners, would easily be one of the best nights in our lives, I thought Real Madrid couldn’t be topped but guess what, It can be! I remember sitting in the North Bank when Eintracht Frankfurt beat us 2-1 at home in the Europa League on a cold miserable night, I remember Olympiacos at home, Aubameyang missing that late chance.

Now my memories are suffocated with those Declan Rice free kicks which I have seen way to many times, that Martinelli song going off in the Bernabeu while he sealed the deal.

We have such a great chance to make history, and I cant wait.

Being an Arsenal fan is confusing sometimes, draw to Everton, Brentford and Crystal Palace, but beat Real Madrid comfortably over the two legs, Paris? It will be tough but beating them and going through to that final gives me goosebumps already and a single whistle hasn’t even gone yet.

By no means will these games be tough, home advantage first also isn’t great BUT we have to make it count like we did last round, roar for every tackle, hound the referee for every decision and constantly sing until you physically can't anymore. I know I will be.

I can’t even believe I am even talking about Arsenal in the semi-finals of the Champions League, but this is all real life, and I can't wait to live this moment.

A huge opportunity for this amazing football club to make history and be the best in Europe.
