Prologue

Arsenal currently sit in fifth spot in the Champions League, after Tuesday's round of results. A victory over the Croatian champions would suyrely seal qualification to the knock-out stages, thereby avoiding an extra two matches next month, while also allowing the luxury of resting key players before the final group stage game at Girona next, week - which could be crucial ahead of the Gunners hosting Manchester City in the Premier League days later.

Dinamo are currently 24th in the final qualifying place on eight points.

The Croatian giants are already on their third manager of the season, wallowing in third place, seven points off the top after winning only one of their last six games.

A humiliating 9-2 loss against Bayern Munich in their first match cost Sergej Jakirovic his job, while Nenad Bjelica lost his job duer to indifferent domestic league form.

Having won the last seven league Croatian titles, Dinamo are struggling to make it eight - leading to legendary Italian defender and 2006 World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro being appointed in December.

Only a last-minute penalty prevented a win against Monaco, before away triumphs to Salzburg and Slovan Bratislava. A 3-0 defeat at Borussia Dortmund came next, prior to a goalless draw with Cetic during their last Euro away clash.

It promises to be quite an evening.
