Highbury Spy Extra on Davis' shocking Saka challenge
The Highbury Spy is fit and firing again - read his take on Arsenal's 4-0 win over Ipswich
A lovely three points at Ipswich on Easter Sunday, and another great performance by Arsenal.
Mikel Merino is proving himself to be more of a magician every week. His back flick assist setting up Gabi Martinelli for the second goal, was absolutely world class.
Who'd have thought at the start of the season we would have seen our crocked so-so Spanish new signing become such an important member of the team?
Merino's rise has been a revelation and he's now invaluable to the first eleven which we all hope will go on and lift the Champions League. If Mikel carries on with these amazing assists we saw in Madrid and at Portman Road, don't bet against it.
It wasn't all sweetness and light at Ipswich though, the horrendous assault by some low life called Leif Davis on Bukayo Saka which saw the Ipswich man sent off was straight from the stone age.
Saka gets fouled a lot, we know that, but this assault on his right Achilles could have put him out of the PSG games and for once Chris Kavanagh, not our favourite ref, did the right thing and gave Davis a well deserved straight red.
It looks like Saka is going to be OK but don't put too much money on him starting against Palace on Wednesday.
If there's one player apart from Merino we want fit for PSG it's our mercurial star boy.
And why was Saka booked by the Ipswich morons in the crowd every time he touched the ball after the red card incident?
Like getting kicked three foot in the air from a dangerous, vicious studs up illegal challenge from behind was Saka's fault?
Enjoy your relegation Tractor Boys, I sincerely hope we don't see you again any time soon.

We're absolutely delighted that Steve Ashford - aka the brilliant Highbury Spy - has recovered from serious illness after a long and courageous battle.
