An evening at the Emirates ends in a draw, Arsenal 2, Crystal Palace 2. See how each Arsenal player performed below.
Player ratings:
David Raya 6/10
His quick distribution was good in creating pacy transitions but looked uncertain this evening with some questionable positioning and passes out, and some shaky saves. Caught off his line which saw Palace’s second goal scored.
Jurrien Timber 7/10
Assisted Trossard’s goal, effective when he had the freedom to play higher up. Solid at the back.
William Saliba 6.5/10
Calm at the back when Palace in counterattack. Strong centre-back performance until the 80th minute, when a cheap mistake gave Palace their second goal.
Jakub Kiwior 7.5/10
Scored his first goal of the season in the opening minutes to give Arsenal the lead. Impressive blocks to stop attempts on goal from Nketiah and Guehi. A very good first half.
Myles Lewis-Skelly 6.5/10
Seemed to enjoy playing more centrally this evening, often leaving the backline as a three. Good at drawing Palace out of shape and being an available option.
Thomas Partey 6.5/10
Not a lot of involvement as Arsenal struggled to play through the middle, often not offering as an option for a pass, when on the ball he dealt with it well with some good runs in possession and effective passes.
Declan Rice 7.5/10
Threatened the Palace defence early with some powerful shots, linked up well with Partey and Odegaard in the middle. Controlled the ball well in tight areas. Continued his excellent form, unfortunate to be shown a yellow card.
Raheem Sterling 5.5/10
Often outpaced by his defender, often unable to hold onto the ball around the box. Replaced by Bukayo Saka in the second half.
Martin Odegaard 7/10
Palace’s defence made it difficult for Arsenal to play through the midfield, but he showed patience. A good overall performance.
Gabriel Martinelli 6.5/10
Great pace when running onto Raya’s long balls out from the back. Put in a couple of strong crosses. Tapped in the ball, but goal was unfortunately overturned.
Leandro Trossard 7/10
Reasonably quiet in the opening minutes but woke up and scored his tenth goal of the season in his 50thArsenal appearance.
