Arsenal Women head coach Renée Slegers has been nominated for February’s Women’s Super League Manager of the Month award.

Slegers has been recognised for wins over Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, and is up against Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor and Manchester United’s Marc Skinner.

Two Arsenal players have been nominated for the Player of the Month accolade, with Mariona Caldentey and Frida Maanum both in the running.

Both players found the net against Manchester City and Spurs, including Mariona scoring within 45 seconds in the away win at the Joie Stadium at the start of the month.

Right-back Emily Fox’s injury time screamer against Spurs is up for Goal of the Month, Fox finding the top corner from 25 yards to seal a 5-0 win in front of over 56,000 fans at Emirates Stadium.
