As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's nothing to do with luck, mate. He plays in a way that leads to injury and he is not physically equipped for the PL tbh. Sad but true. I'd love to see him make it but I don't see it happening for him.
Look at his injury list;
– January 2010: Left hamstring
– November 2010: Back
– August 2011: Right ankle
– February 2012: Right foot
– October 2012: Right ankle
– February 2013: Left thigh
– March 2013: Left ankle
– May 2013: Left ankle
– July 2013: Illness
– August 2013: Right ankle
– September 2013: Right ankle
– October 2013: Right ankle
– November 2013: Left ankle
– December 2013: left ankle
– January 2014: Right ankle
– February 2014:Left hamstring
– March 2014: Left foot
– October 2014: Left knee
– November 2014: Left calf
– November 2014: Left ankle
– August 2015: Left leg
– September 2015: Left leg
Are you sure that's not your list of injuries.
And that's not a yearly list, that's a minute by minute account of those injuries

Was watching Wilshere on Goals on Sunday a few weeks back. Turns out he's a Wham fan.
His family are all West Ham, so he was born into it - but he has been with Arsenal since he was about 5 hasn't he? So he has enough affiliation with us for me. Although if he caries on missing so many months out he might well end up at West Ham soon enough to be fair.

That's quite a list, almost Diabyesque. To be fair, I'd forgotten we still had him on our books. He's not going to make it at Arsenal but he would probably do well enough at somewhere like West Ham. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they went in for him this summer
I wanted to like him - Being the only true product of the Arsenal academy since Cashley, but I can't due to his chavvy attitude and his embarrassing hard-man schtick whilst being unable to take a tackle.
Jack's our new luxury player, the "white Diaby" I believe it is. Make good use when he's available, but don't count on him being available for a full run of games.
If Wenger's too loyal to Wilshere it will only hurt the club on the pitch. Sucks to write that but it kinda rings true.

Which is why I would sell him if we get half a chance. He ain't ever going to be the player he looked capable of being at 18 or 19, we need to cut our losses with him. If he gets fit and has a decent run of games before a transfer window he will still command the standard English premium and somebody like Liverpool would come in waving £25m.
I think the Club thinks it would be too much bad PR to have sold him to Man City, but most Gooners would see it as a gamble worth taking. His ankles won't let him have a career, unless you sit him in a deeper role where he's not going to get tackled as often.
Our medical team should be put down because Wilshere's ankles can't stand up to the rigours of professional football?
Ok then.
Blame the medical people for repeat muscle injuries (and not even then, if you get LOCO KID Sanchez demanding to play all the time) but not things like this.
